The Gridiron Club organizes all Home Tailgates as well as the NYC Tailgate. The Home tailgates are sponsored by individual classes.

A Big Thanks to the following classes who sponsored a total of five 2024 home tailgates (1987-1989, 1990-1992, 1993-1996, 1997-2001, 2003, 2010-2014).

For 2025, we will need 5 sets of classes to sponsor the home tailgates. This year’s NYC tailgate (at Tubby Hook Tavern for Columbia game) will be the 7th consecutive year that Colin Kelly ‘90 will sponsor it.

This year we are also going to be sponsoring meals after a few of the games for current players, parents and alums. These meals will be a great opportunity for players to get to know alums and also give them some insight into different careers they may want to consider. We wanted to mention Harry Branning ‘73 who unfortunately passed away last year after a brief illness. Harry was the first alum to sponsor a meal for the players last year and we appreciate his leadership and he will be missed.
